“Love yourself first and everything else falls into line. You really have to love yourself to get anything done in this world.” – Lucille Ball

Do you love yourself enough?

Self-Esteem: Love yourselfSelf-esteem speaks about our own opinion and how we feel about ourselves. It talks about a person’s self-worth and the respect he/she gives for him or herself. In other words, it’s

appreciating and accepting who you are and what you have. It is a vital process to success, and we have to attain this to explore our full potential and know our capabilities

and limitations. Living without self-esteem is living a life full of insecurities, doubts and worries. You always feel like others are better than you and your outlook on life is full of negativity.

Whereas when you have high self-esteem, you feel confident. You start to believe that you deserve love, kindness and respect from other people. For example, working your relationship and having a connection with your family and friends. This can also mean that you are

opening up, sharing your ideas and feelings with those close to you. If you’ve got people who care, listen and understand you, you’re going to feel appreciated and at the same time supported. Hence, it will boost your self-esteem, and you’ll believe yourself even more. At this point,

you no longer worry about others’ opinions, and if someone says negative things about you, it won’t affect you that much anymore.

Self-esteem: Love yourself on Esmie LawrenceIf you have healthy self-esteem, you realize that you are worthy of all the good things in life, and it’s OK to make mistakes. Things take time, and you won’t achieve something in

just a blink of an eye. Throughout your journey, you’ll mess up a few times. You’ll take the wrong routes, but this shouldn’t stop you from arriving at the right destination. It’s OK to take hours, days or even years. What is important is that along the way, you are learning

and growing. Remember, failures will make you stronger and wiser, and once you’ve overcome these things, you’ll eventually realize that you are worthy enough, that you deserve all the best things in life. You deserve all the love in the world, and you don’t need to settle for anything less. I wrote a 22-page ebook to remind you that You Are Worthy.

Self-esteem: Love yourself on Esmie Lawrence blogHere’s a gentle reminder; one of the most significant things in life is looking after yourself. And a great start in working on your self-esteem is making sure that your whole being is

sufficient. This pertains to all the aspects; physically, mentally and emotionally. It means eating the right food, getting enough sleep and taking the time to rest and relax. It means

doing the things that excite you and the things that ignite a fire to your soul. Doing the things that you are passionate about will lead you to a happier life.

A happy life is waiting for you. Just keep in mind, be confident because you are good enough.
